Phil Ogle
Micheal Willemson
Tony Zehnder
Wayne Moss
Ricky Boulton
Barry Podjursky

Looking forward to leading this team to Palmerston where Im sure the skill and experience of this team will give us a good chance. Havent been involved with teams for a while but it makes me proud to be with the Scrappers again.

As for me. . .  Have had a pretty quiet season so far, Ive just purchased the 79c car for Barry Podjursky to drive for the remainder of the season and Ive decided at this stage I will use all this running gear in a new chassis for next season, chassis builder yet to be decided but Id like some input from everyone as to what sort of chassis I should drive next year, Im sure the Macgors followers can help me make my decision.

At this stage Id like to thank the Ogle team for allowing me to get back on the track this year and have some real fun again. The 947 car is for sale, but you will still see me in it and you will see it being piloted at the teams champs with Phil Ogle behind the wheel. If you need any info on this car feel free to call me, only too happy to help out.

If youre at the teams champs, feel free to come see us all, always happy to chat and look forward to a big season next year.

Not sure who took the 947 pic at Stratford but thanks,

Cheers
Roydon

It has been a busy off season. We built a new ministock for Larissa and as you can see, it is “Joe Faram Orange” Larissa liked the look of the #5 Superstock of Joes so with his permission she was able to paint it up just like his. Thanks Joe.

So here’s looking to a good season for Larissa and Chris in the ministocks, they both have fresh new engines thanks to Greg Dietschin and they’re both chomping at the bit to get out on the track and get some laps in, Chris has the idea that he had enough of Larissa finishing in front of him so we’ll see how the season goes.

So after my big bang in Rotorua in 2009, and a dabble in the #7  super and a play in the modified, a pin in my collar bone and 1 back operation earlier this year, I was beginning to think I may have done my dash and just become a speedway dad with the kids, however after a spin in Phil Ogles car at Stratford at the end of last season I realised the bug never goes away, it just goes on holiday for a while.

So after over half a bottle of rum with Les and Phil Ogle, we decided that I will contract to Stratford and drive the 2nd Ogle car, until my body tells me I can’t, or until it sells. I’m quite excited about it and know its about the enjoyment factor first, although leading the pack past the finish line is always a buzz.
I’ve also considered teams racing, but with the helpful advice of my wife (she would kill me) I won’t be teams racing, as good as it sounds, but I do like the thought of being involved with the mighty Scrappers in some way so we’ll see what happens.

As you can see Phil and Les have a cool paintjob planned with true Naki flavours

Cheers
Roydon
